DESCRIPTION

Seeking actors for two ongoing, in person acting classes with actor Ben Chase.

Fridays — 10a–12p & 12p–2p

6 actors maximum per class.

$275/month

If interested, please respond with your headshot, resume, and reel if you have one. There are no auditions, but you may be asked to sit for a brief interview before being accepted.

The structure: scenes are assigned or requested ahead of time, self-taped and uploaded before class. We watch the tapes together and work 1:1 from there. The foundation of the class are how to advocate for yourself in the business (and even tapes), self exploration through a characters action, and sense memory.

About Ben: Series regular on Law & Order Organized Crime (Season 1) and the NBC miniseries The Thing About Pam opposite Renée Zellweger. Recurring on the upcoming Apple TV+ series Parallax opposite Liev Schreiber and Stephen Graham. Film credits include Kathryn Bigelow's House of Dynamite (Netflix), Audrey's Children (Peacock), The Last Thing He Wanted (Netflix), and the upcoming crime thriller Dream Baby Dream. Starring role in Atlantic Theater Company's recent Pulitzer Prize finalist The Far Country.
