Stage Right Theatrical Institute is proud to present High School Musical Jr. and Annie Jr. as part of our Pre-Professional Summer Intensive.

High School Musical Jr. runs June 15th–27th, with performances on June 26th & 27th at the professional MATCH Theater (Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston). Annie Jr. runs July 13th–25th, with performances on July 24th & 25th at the MATCH Theater.

Our summer intensives are designed for performers ages 8–17 who are ready to train at a higher level. Students rehearse daily in a structured, professional environment while developing skills in acting, vocal performance, and dance—culminating in a fully staged production performed in the round.

In addition to rehearsals, students participate in masterclasses led by Broadway directors, actors, casting professionals, and NYC-based industry creatives, offering a unique opportunity to learn, perform, and receive feedback from working professionals in the industry.

Students receive:
– A fully produced musical theater experience at a professional venue
– Daily training in acting, voice, and movement
– Access to Broadway-level masterclasses
– Performance opportunities for industry professionals
– Costumes and production elements included

Stage Right brings together a company of performers from across the country, including students traveling in from major markets such as Houston, NYC, and LA—creating a high-level, collaborative environment that challenges students to grow both artistically and personally.

A limited number of merit-based scholarships are available for exceptional performers, with a focus on supporting out-of-town students. Stage Right also provides guidance to families on housing and accommodations to ensure a seamless experience.
