A First Look at World-Premere Brokeback Mountain Opera in Madrid

Madrid's Teatro Real will stage the world premiere of a new opera based on Anne Proulx's 1997 short story "Brokeback Mountain," which was adapted into the 2005 Academy Award-winning Ang Lee film. It will feature a libretto by Proulx and a score by Charles Wuorinen. Here's a look at the dress rehearsal.
