International News World Premiere of The Little Big Things Opens September 14

Based on the best-selling memoir by Henry Fraser, the musical features a score by Nick Butcher.

The world premiere of the new British musical The Little Big Things officially opens at London's @SohoPlace September 14 after beginning performances September 2. The run will continue through November 25.

The Little Big Things uses a pop score to breathe life into the story of Henry Fraser, an athlete who was paralyzed from the shoulders down in an accident at 17, and who turned to visual art to cope. Fraser's paintings, which he creates using a mouthstick attached to a paintbrush, stylus, or other art making apparatus, have received major international attention in the decade since his accident.

Based on the best-selling memoir by Fraser, the musical stars Ed Larkin and Jonny Amies as Man and Boy Henry Fraser, respectively. They are joined by Linzi Hateley as Fran Fraser, Alasdair Harvey as Andrew Fraser, Jordan Benjamin as Dom, Rebecca Bowden as Surgeon, Jamie Chatterton as Tom, Tom Oliver as Marco, Malinda Parris as Dr Graham, Cleve September as Will, and Amy Trigg as Agnes, with Stephen John Davis, Elena Pitsiaeli, George Salmon, Amy West, and Joseph Wolff filling out the company.

Featuring music by Nick Butcher, lyrics by Butcher and Tom Ling, and a book by Joe White, the musical is directed by & Juliet and My Son's A Queer director Luke Sheppard.

In addition to Sheppard, the creative team includes set designer Colin Richmond, choreographer Mark Smith, costume designer Fay Fullerton, video designer Luke Halls, lighting designer Howard Hudson, sound designer Paul Gatehouse, musical supervisor Matthew Brind, music director Laura Bangay, dramaturg and associate director Nickie Miles-Wildin, and casting director Jill Green.
