Off Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre has revealed its fall programming, with a world premiere, a fourth round of commissions of new plays, and more.

A Bodega Princess Remembers La Fiesta de los Reyes will make its world premiere beginning November 17, presented by Ensemble Studio Theatre, Lucille Lortel Theatre, and the Latinx Playwrights Circle. Written and performed by Iraisa Ann Reilly, the work sees the multi-disciplinary artist bringing audiences her family, hometown, and an epiphany that changed her life forever. Estefanía Fadul is directing, with performances set to continue at Ensemble Studio Theatre through December 14.

The rest of the group's newly announced programming is for screens. The latest episode of the New York Emmy Award-winning series Dangerous Acts: Spelman College will premiere on All Arts October 17 at 8 PM. The series highlights groundbreaking Black women writers from the early-20th century, connecting their legacy to the next generation of actors studying at Spelman College and Morehouse College.

A free digital reading of Kristen Adele Calhoun's Out the Mud will stream October 16-30. Tiffany Nichole Greene will direct the work inspired by the slave narratives from the Federal Writers’ Project. Keith Arthur Bolden and Crystal Dickinson will star, with Eunice Woods providing stage direction. Register to watch at Lortel.org.

This fall also marks the fourth season of the Lortel's web series Conversations from the Alcove, which can be viewed on the Lucille Lortel YouTube channel. Future episodes will include guests Regan Moro, Reilly, Rajiv Joseph, Zac Kline, Zizi Majid, Brian James Polak, Elaine Ávila, and Allyson Dwyer.
