News Wicked's Carla Stickler to Make Solo Debut at Metropolitan Room Carla Stickler, who was understudy for the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked, is set to make her solo concert debut at the Metropolitan Room June 1, in a show titled Option Up.

Directed by Joe Ricci, with music direction by Doug Oberhamer, Stickler's concert will feature music from Sara Bareilles, Katy Perry, Kasey Musgraves, Stephen Sondheim and Jason Robert Brown. Performing alongside the Broadway actor will be special guest songwriters Brian Lowdermilk, Drew Overcash and Zoe Sarnak, as well as singers Kate Bass and Cassie Okenka. They will be backed by Eric Halvorson, Tony Romano and Alan Stevens-Hewitt.

Stickler has toured the United States with Wicked, Mamma Mia! and The Sound of Music.
