Brittney Johnson, who made history when she became the first Black actor to assume the role of Glinda in Broadway's Wicked full-time, makes her solo New York concert debut May 1 at 7 PM at Birdland.
The evening, entitled Ripple Effect, is a musical homage to Johnson's past, present, and a sneak peek of what’s to come. The concert features arrangements and music direction by James Sampliner.
