News "Who's the Boss?" Star Pintauro Part of Love! Valour! Compassion! Benefit Danny Pintauro — of "Who's the Boss?" fame — will star in a limited engagement of Love! Valour! Compassion! to benefit the Provincetown Theater Foundation.

Pintauro will portray Bobby, the young, blind lover of Gregory, the 40-something choreographer who owns the Victorian home where his friends vacation over three holiday weekends. Others in the cast of the Tony-winning Terrence McNally play include Brooks Braselman as Buzz, Steve Couch as Arthur, Christopher Kenney as Gregory, Jamie Morris as John/James, Brian Patacca as Perry and Jaquay Thomas as Ramon.

Presented by The Crown & Anchor Theatre Series, Love! Valour! Compassion! will be performed at the Paramount Theater, Sept. 18-20 at 7 PM. Philadelphia native Rob Rosiello will direct.

After a successful run at the Manhattan Theatre Club, McNally's Love! Valour! Compassion! transferred to Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre in 1995. The original Broadway cast included Nathan Lane, Randy Becker, Stephen Bogardus, John Glover, John Benjamin Hickey, Justin Kirk and Anthony Heald. The production won 1995 Tony Awards for Best Play and Best Featured Actor in a Play (John Glover). The subsequent Fine Line Features film cast "Seinfeld" star Jason Alexander in Lane's role of Buzz Hauser.

For seven seasons, Danny Pintauro starred as Jonathan Bower on the ABC TV sitcom "Who's the Boss?" His theatrical credits include The Velocity of Gary (Not His Real Name), A Queer Carol, Hot n' Throbbing, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde and Beat: A Play on Words.
