A Strange Loop Tony and Pulitzer winner Michael R. Jackson's new musical White Girl in Danger will be previewed at a Works & Process at the Guggenheim event February 26, ahead of the work's upcoming Off-Broadway world premiere via Second Stage Theater and Vineyard Theatre. Members of the creative team will be on hand at the NYC museum to talk about the creative process, and cast members will perform highlights.

Directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz (The Skin of Our Teeth) and featuring choreography by Raja Feather Kelly (A Strange Loop), the production is set to begin previews March 15 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater, with opening night April 10.

The work transports audiences to soap opera town Allwhite, where Keesha Gibbs and the other "blackgrounds" look to center their own narratives while avoiding certain death at the hands of the Allwhite Killer. The work has been in development at the Vineyard through a multi-year residency for Jackson, and previously performed a developmental reading at New York Stage and Film.

Tickets for the Guggenheim event are available at WorksandProcess.org.
