Tuacahn describes the show thus: "Travel into a little girl's imagination on an enchanted journey through popular Disney classics, including The Jungle Book, Tangled, Mulan, Newsies, Hercules, Pocahontas and many others."
Though the show uses Disney material, Disney spokesperson Dennis M. Crowley said it is not a Disney production.
Tuacahn, which has hosted large-scale productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express, along with Disney's Tarzan, Mulan and Mary Poppins, is producing the new show, which uses existing Disney songs and characters, but has a narrative through-line that makes it different from previous revues like the 2004-05 Disney-produced touring show On the Record.
It's being presented as part of Tuacahn's "Broadway in the Desert" series.
Tickets cost $22.50-$69.50 and can be ordered at Tuacahn.org.
