News What's Canceled Tonight: Nightlife Events Postponed Due to Snow Storm With a blizzard on the horizon, nightlife events around the city are postponing or canceling. Here is a list of shows that will not go on Jan. 26.

Birdland Jazz Club will be closed this evening, and all shows, including Lindsay Mendez and Marco Paguia's concert, are cancelled for Jan. 26. They plan to re-open Jan. 27. Joe's Pub is also closed. 

The Make Some Noise concert, welcoming Gavin Creel back to the U.S. and Broadway Jan. 26 at Joe's Pub, has been postponed due to weather.

According to Twitter, all shows at 54 Below on Jan. 26 and 27 are canceled. Guests of those performances should call Jan. 26 before 5 PM at (646) 476-3551.

The annual Broadway Unplugged concert, which features Broadway stars performing without amplification, has been rescheduled to July 20 at 8 PM at The Town Hall, according to Scott Siegel. Tickets purchased for tonight (including seat locations) will be honored for the new date. 

The SubCulture concert featuring Tony Award-winning composer, lyricist, conductor and director Jason Robert Brown, as part of his year-long residency at New York City's SubCulture, has been cancelled. Say My Name, a concert that was to be held Jan. 26 at the Davenport Theatre to benefit The Trevor Project, has been postponed to a later date to be announced. 

Dance from the Heart, which was to feature a pas de deux from Broadway's On the Town as well as duets from American Ballet Theatre, "So You Think You Can Dance" choreographer Sonya Tayeh and more, has canceled its Jan. 26 performance at The Joyce Theater. Because of the performers' limited availability, it will not be rescheduled. Ticket buyers are being contacted by email. Dance from the Heart is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

59E59 Theaters will close at 3 PM Jan. 26 and will remain closed Jan. 27. All Tuesday evening shows are canceled. Tuesday evening ticket holders should contact their point of purchase, Ticket Central, on (212) 279-4200. 59E59 Members should contact the Member: E: Line at (212) 753-5959 ex. 104.
