What Solo of Ann Harada’s Drove Her Son Crazy? | Playbill

Stage to Page What Solo of Ann Harada’s Drove Her Son Crazy? In this episode of Broadway Babies, Harada’s son reveals the warm-up that set him off and his favorite roles she’s played.

Broadway Babies is back. Juli Wesley, the daughter of James Wesley and SiriusXM radio host, Playbill columnist, and Broadway personality Seth Rudetsky, knows a thing or two about growing up with parents in show biz.

In her video series, Wesley interviews other Broadway kids with famous parents.

This week, she welcomes Elvis Litman, Ann Harada’s son. Harada was actually pregnant with her son during her biggest Broadway role: Christmas Eve in the Tony-winning Best Musical Avenue Q. She took maternity leave in 2004, and later returned to the show. Now, Litman sits down with Wesley to reveal what it’s like to live with Harada at home. From the pre-show rituals that drive him crazy to the best part about having an expert comedian for a mother, Litman tells all in the video above.
