Alexander Zeldin's The Other Place, which played London's National Theatre in 2024, officially opened its North American premiere at Off-Broadway's The Shed November 5, and the reviews are rolling in.

Performances began in The Griffin Theater January 30, and will continue through March 1. Directed by the playwright, the production features four members of the original U.K. company—Lee Braithwaite (Cowbois), Emma D’Arcy (House of the Dragon), Jerry Killick (The Confessions), and Tobias Menzies (The Crown)—with the additions of Lorna Brown (The Witcher) and Ruby Stokes (Lockwood & Co).

The Other Place follows two sisters who reunite at the family home to mark the anniversary of their father’s death. Their uncle is attempting a fresh start, but one of the sisters threatens to shatter this peace, demanding justice for the pain she carries.
