The Tony Awards ceremony is just over a week away (June 11) and the nominees are in the midst of a flurry of luncheons, meet-and-greets, and other awards ceremonies. And many of them are still performing eight shows a week!
But that doesn't mean they aren't ready to rub elbows with fellow nominees and celebrate each other's work. We asked the 2023 Tony nominees, "Which other nominee are you most excited to meet or celebrate with?" Several people just wanted to party with their own casts or the other nominees in their categories. But some nominees got downright giddy at the thought of getting to meet some of their own personal faves.
Take a look at the video above to see who wants to party with who. (And though it's not in the video above, Brandon Uranowitz was heard saying that he wants to "get lit with Alex Newell," so make that happen and send us pics!)
The 76th Annual Tony Awards nominations were announced May 2. Winners will be named in a starry ceremony at Washington Heights' United Palace Theatre June 11. The Tony Awards: Act One, a 90-minute pre-show of live and exclusive content, will stream on Pluto TV beginning at 6:30 PM ET, with hosts and further details to be announced. The main awards ceremony will follow at 8 PM ET, hosted by West Side Story Oscar winner Ariana DeBose. The awards portion will broadcast live on CBS, and stream live (for premium-level subscribers) via Paramount+. All Paramount+ subscribers will have on demand access to the broadcast beginning June 12.
