News Wayne Brady to Host Revised "Let's Make a Deal" Wayne Brady, who made his Broadway debut as slick lawyer Billy Flynn in Kander and Ebb's Chicago, will host a new version of the celebrated game show "Let's Make a Deal," according to Entertainment Weekly.

The daytime version of the famed game show will debut Oct. 5 on CBS. "Let's Make a Deal" features contestants dressed in outlandish costumes, who make deals with the host (Brady).

"Let's Make a Deal" will replace the long-running daytime serial "Guiding Light" on the CBS daytime schedule.

Monty Hall hosted the original "Deal" series, which ran from 1963-1977.

Wayne Brady has also hosted "Don't Forget the Lyrics," "The Wayne Brady Show" and "Whose Line is it Anyway?" He has made guest appearances on television's "I'll Fly Away," "Home Court," "In the Heat of the Night," "Chappelle's Show" and "American Dreams," and his stage credits also include productions of A Chorus Line, Fences, I'm Not Rappaport, A Raisin in the Sun and Blade to the Heat.
