Off-Broadway's MCC Theater has added some starry names to its roster of Broadway favorites taking the stage for the annual Miscast benefit concert, set for April 15 at Hammerstein Ballroom.
Newly joining the lineup are Wayne Brady (The Wiz), Amber Iman (Lempicka), Mykal Kilgore, and Jinkx Monsoon (Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors).
They join a previously announced group that includes Gavin Creel, Brian d'Arcy James, Ingrid Michaelson, Lauren Patten, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Lea Salonga, Ryan Vasquez, Vanessa Williams, and Joy Woods. Will Van Dyke is music directing.
This year's concert will stream online following the live show, with the on-demand filming becoming available April 29. Streaming tickets are available at Watch.BroadwayUnlocked.com.
Each year, Miscast proves to be one of the industry's favorite events, featuring Broadway stars performing songs from roles in which they might not be traditionally cast. The 2024 iteration of the annual tradition will honor MCC Youth Company alum Nicole Suazo and Jason Robert Brown, whose new musical The Connector recently made its world premiere via MCC.
Tickets are currently on sale, with gala tables available by emailing [email protected].
