Stewart shared the memory of learning he would be knighted as well as stories about his childhood and his first slice of pizza. He also learned about the differences between obscene gestures in America and England.
Stewart first appeared on Broadway in Peter Brook's production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1971 and won the Drama Desk Award for A Christmas Carol in 1992. He received a Tony Award nomination for Macbeth in 2008 and has also performed in A Life in the Theatre, The Caretaker and The Tempest. He stars in Stephen Belber's film "Match," based on the 2004 Tony-nominated play of the same name, which hit theatres Jan. 14. Carla Gugino and Matthew Lillard co-star.
