Off-Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors welcomed Tony winner Lena Hall into the role of Audrey September 6 at the Westside Theatre. Hall's Broadway credits include Kinky Boots, Tarzan, Dracula The Musical, 42nd Street, and Cats, along with her Tony-winning turn as Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
“I didn't realize how grounded that character could be and how heartbreaking that character could be,” shares Hall in a recent visit to the Playbill Studio. Watch the video above for her rendition of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's “Somewhere That’s Green.”
Along with Hall, Tony nominee Rob McClure currently leads the cast as Seymour, with Tom Alan Robbins as Mushnik (through September 25), Andrew Call as Dr. Orin Scrivello, Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, Ari Groover as Ronnette, Cristina Raé as Crystal (through September 18), and Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon. Rounding out the company are Josh Daniel, Camryn Hampton, Michael Iannucci, Weston Chandler Long, Chelsea Turbin, and Teddy Yudain.

The Off-Broadway revival resumed its run September 21, 2021, after temporarily closing in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
Directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer, the revival opened in October 2019. The creative team for the Ashman-Menken musical also includes choreographer Ellenore Scott, scenic designer Julian Crouch, lighting designer Bradley King, costume designer Tom Broecker, sound designer Jessica Paz, puppet designer Nicholas Mahon, original puppet designer Martin P. Robinson, hair and makeup designer Tommy Kurzman, music supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger Will Van Dyke, and casting director Jim Carnahan. Puppets are by Monkey Boys Productions.
General management is by Live Wire Theatrical/Chris Aniello, and production stage management is by Ryan Gohsman.
