Watch below as Heidi Blickenstaff sings a number from Disney’s Freaky Friday, the new musical based on the novel by Mary Rodgers and the popular Disney films, which is playing through November 20 at Arlington, VA’s Signature Theatre.

Blickenstaff (Something Rotten!) and Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening) star as a mother and daughter who magically swap bodies. The show’s book is by Parenthood’s Bridget Carpenter with music and lyrics by Next to Normal and If/Then songwriters Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, who won the Pulitzer Prize for Next to Normal.

The world-premiere production of the show is directed by Christopher Ashley with choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Jason Gotay, Alan H. Green, Shayna Blass, Tyler Bowman, Cicily Daniels, Jamie Eacker, Sherri L. Edelen, Katie Ladner, Storm Lever, J.
