This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was as Broadway-filled as ever, with a broadcast-opening performance from Funny Girl, plus numbers from Some Like It Hot, A Beautiful Noise, and The Lion King all airing on NBC and Peacock during the annual holiday event. If you didn't catch them live, no worries. You can watch all of this year's performances below—we'll be adding them here as they get posted online.
Also appearing at this year's parade were The Radio City Rockettes, Broadway Aladdin star and Blue's Clues & You! host Joshua Dela Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Ballet Hispánico, Big Apple Circus, Jordin Sparks, Mario Lopez, and more.
Lea Michele and the cast of Funny Girl opened the broadcast with "Don't Rain On My Parade":
The Lion King, which recently celebrated 25 years on Broadway, brought "Circle of Life" to this year's parade.
Will Swenson and the cast of A Beautiful Noise performed a medley of "Crunchy Granola Suite" and (of course) "Sweet Caroline":
Some Like It Hot brought '50s glamour by performing the title song from the show, with Adrianna Hicks, NaTasha Yvette Williams, and J. Harrison Ghee.
NBC and Peacock didn't have a monopoly on this year's Broadway parade performances. CBS' broadcast of the event included numbers from Broadway's SIX and Moulin Rouge!.
During the parade, Funny Girl's Amber Ardolino and Some LIke It Hot's Adrianna Hicks took over Playbill's Instagram to give followers a behind-the-scenes look at performing the parade. The posts will only be viewable for 24 hours beginning November 24—take a look!
