Directed by Stori Ayers, Confederates is Morisseau’s second play as part of Signature Theatre’s Residency 5. Performances begin March 8.

Launched during the 2012 inaugural season at The Pershing Square Signature Center, Residency 5 guarantees each playwright three productions of new plays over the course of a five-year residency. Celebrating the path from the written page to a fully developed new work, this program enables a diverse community of playwrights to build bodies of work.
