Those who grew up on Sesame Street are familiar with Ernie’s “Rubber Duckie” bath-time song. Tony winner Daveed Diggs performed his own take on the tune for the children’s show.
He starts off with the traditional melody, but soon breaks into an original rap.
Diggs won a Tony for his performance as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson in Broadway’s Hamilton. Since departing the show he has guest-starred on ABC’s black-ish and has been touring with his musical group, clipping.
