In August, Playbill Travel embarked on the second of its three-cruise River Cruises: Broadway on the Rhine River. After the success of Broadway on the Rhône River in May, Broadway on the Rhine River set sail August 13 from Basel, Switzerland, through the gorgeous German countryside.
As always, Playbill provided the best of Broadway talent in Tony winner Faith Prince, Tony nominee Santino Fontana, Drama Desk winner Andréa Burns, three-time Tony nominee Terrence Mann, and his wife, two-time Tony nominee Charlotte d'Amboise. One of the greatest Broadway dancers of our time, d’Amboise filled her set with songs from her storied career in theatre. But the climax of her up-close-and-personal concert was the full recreation of her Tony-nominated performance as Cassie in the 2006 revival of A Chorus Line. Watch her perform the star number from the show, “Music and the Mirror,” in the video above with the original choreography.
You can experience unforgettable moments like this one and more by booking your next vacation on an upcoming Playbill cruise. There are limited cabins still available for the final river cruise: Broadway on the Danube River With Michael Feinstein this November.
