Video Watch Broadway's SIX Tudor Queens 'Get Down' on Late Night With Seth Meyers

The cast of the 2022 Tony-nominated musical performed on the late-night show May 26.

Late Night with Seth Meyers hosted the queens of Broadway's SIX May 26 for a live performance of "Get Down." The performance, which can be viewed above, spotlights Anne of Cleves, Henry VIII's fourth wife and the second to be divorced, played by Brittney Mack, who originated the role on Broadway.

Joining Mack in the performance are original Broadway cast members Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Abby Mueller as Jane Seymours, and Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard plus newcomer Joy Woods as Catherine Parr and understudy Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert as Catherine of Aragon.

The U.K.-born musical, a pop-concert-meets-history-lesson, celebrates the six women who married King Henry VIII of England.

The show was recently nominated for eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre, Best Costume Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Design, Best Direction, Best Choreography, and Best Orchestrations. The production also recently released an original Broadway cast recording, recorded live on opening night.

Six was co-written by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow and co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The musical features set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabrielle Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse
