Over the past 30 years, The Phantom of the Opera has played over 12,000 performances at Broadway’s Majestic Theatre since opening January 29, 1988.

Produced by Cameron Mackintosh, the musical features a score by Andrew Lloyd Webber in a sweepingly romantic production helmed by multiple Tony winner Hal Prince. With lyrics by Charles Hart, musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne, scenic and costume design by Maria Björnson, lighting design by Andrew Bridge, and sound design by Martin Levan, Phantom has gone on to enrapture audiences around the world.
