A 20-year run on Broadway is a big deal, commemorated with celebrity appearances and special Playbills. And cake. 

For the recent 20th anniversary celebration of Wicked, which was officially on October 30, the musical turned to celebrated New Jersey baker Buddy Valastro to create a cake as spectacular as the show itself. In the season premiere of his reality series from A&E, Buddy Valastro’s Cake Dynasty, Valastro travels to the Gershwin Theatre to meet with Wicked's two stars, Alyssa Fox and McKenzie Kurtz, to get a feel for the magic the pair brings to the stage every night. "Funny thing is, I never met such happy witches in my life!" says the baker in the exclusive clip above. 

In Buddy Valastro’s Cake Dynasty, the owner of Carlo’s Bake Shop takes viewers behind the scenes of the ever-expanding business that he runs with his extended family. The Wicked cake isn't the only big project he'll be tackling this season, either. He'll be creating pieces to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Secretariat's win, Caesars Palace anniversary, and Neil Patrick Harris' 50th birthday.
