Video Video: Watch Jessica Vosk's Powerful 'She Used to Be Mine' and More From Muny Waitress

Lili-Anne Brown directs the Sara Bareilles musical, also featuring Devin DeSantis, Lissa deGuzman, Nicole Michelle Haskins, Ben Crawford, and Cleavant Derricks.

The Muny premiere of Waitress, which began performances July 30, continues through August 5 on the James S. McDonnell Stage in Forest Park, Missouri.

Directed by Lili-Anne Brown, the cast of the hit Broadway musical is led by Jessica Vosk as Jenna, Devin DeSantis as Dr. Pomatter, Lissa deGuzman as Dawn, Nicole Michelle Haskins as Becky, Ben Crawford as Earl, Jonah D. Winston as Cal, Troy Iwata as Ogie, Torri Tripoli as Lulu, Cleavant Derricks as Joe, and Caitlin Witty as the standby for Jenna.

Ensemble members and swings include Kaley Bender, Harter Clingman, Arnold Harper II, Alia Hodge, Josh Hoon Lee, Patricia Jewel, Vaughn Mariani, Gabriel Mudd, Owen Scales, Kaitlyn Louise Smith, and Erica Stephan. The company is also joined by the Muny Teen Youth Ensemble.

The production also has choreography by Chloe O. Davis, music direction by conductor Andra Velis Simon, intimacy consulting by Tress Kurzym, scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Raquel Adorno, lighting design by Heather Gilbert, co-sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Mike Tutaj, wig design by Kelley Jordan, and production stage management by Kelsey Tippins.

Adapted from the film of the same name, Waitress was the first Broadway musical to have women in the four top creative team spots: original music and lyrics by Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, a book by screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam), direction by Tony winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland), and choreography by Lorin Latarro. The original Broadway production was nominated for four 2016 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Jessie Mueller was also Tony-nominated for her performance as Jenna.

The Telsey Office is the casting partner of The Muny.

The Muny artistic staff includes Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson and Associate Artistic Director Michael Baxter. The production manager is Tracy Utzmyers, and the music supervisor is Michael Horsley.

The 2024 summer season at The Muny will continue with In the Heights (August 9-15) and Anything Goes (August 19-25).
