Tony Award winner J. Harrison Ghee is currently back on Broadway in the role of Hermes in Hadestown. In playing the God, and mentor to Orpheus, Ghee is bringing a bit of themself to the part, saying: "I play this role in a lot of people's lives: leading, guiding, nurturing, being available to assist, but also encourage you to do your own thing. It really is an opportunity to live in my fullness within the role."

Playbill's Jeffrey Vizcaíno caught up with the new cast of the long-running Broadway hit, including Disney Channel and Broadway actor Joshua Colley (Descendants: The Rise of Red) as Orpheus, Jordan Tyson (The Notebook) as Eurydice, TV and film star Gary Dourdan (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) in his Broadway debut as Hades, and Grammy and Latin Grammy winner Gaby Moreno in her Broadway debut as Persephone. Watch in the video above as they discuss what they're each bringing to their roles.

For Joshua Colley, he's hoping to bring the same sense of excitement to the audience as he felt when he first saw the show. "I first saw the show when I was 18 years old. I was literally sitting front-row, and I remember feeling the lamps swinging over my head, and that experience was so inspiring. It's so exciting to see other theatre kids inspired by what I'm doing up there."
