Crooked Cross follows the Klugers, a typical middle-class Bavarian family, facing the economic and political challenges of life in Germany between Christmas 1932 and June 1933. With a specific lens on this family, audiences are able to grasp how the German public came to rally behind the new regime, offering a poignant warning about propaganda. Jonathan Bank is directing.
