Prior to the screening, Brad Kane, the singing voice of the title character, will perform a song from the Alan Menken-Howard Ashman score. Attendees can also expect a special sing-along.
The 1992 film, directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, was written by Clements, Musker, Ted Elliott, and Terry Rossio. The motion picture won two Academy Awards: Best Original Song for “A Whole New World” and Best Original Score. Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, and Gilbert Gottfried voiced the characters.
The 2014 Broadway musical, which is based on the film, continues at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
