Tony-winning producer Daryl Roth is one of 10 new appointees to the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
President Trump announced his intent to appoint the individuals for a six-year term, expiring September 1, 2024. The other appointees include Carl H. Lindner III of Ohio, Marc I. Stern of California, Jon Voight of New York, Kelcy Warren of Texas, Heather Washburne of Texas, Karen Tucker LeFrak of New York, Michael Huckabee of Arkansas, Kelly Roberts of California, and Adrienne Arsht of the District of Columbia. The latter was appointed to a new term.
The Kennedy Center Board of Trustees currently has 36 members appointed by the president as well as 21 ex officio members who are designated by Congress.
Variety reports that board members David C. Bonnett, Shonda Rhimes, Giselle Fernandez, Norma Lee Funger, Rebecca C. Pohland, Romesh Wadhwani, Anthony Welters, Alexandra C. Stanton, and Rose Kennedy Schlossberg will be stepping down.
