Tony-nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) will direct with Lawrence Yurman (Grey Gardens) serving as music director. Carole Lasser is the pianist.
According to press notes, "Born for Broadway founder and executive producer Sarah Galli created the show while studying theater at Marymount Manhattan College as a way to give back to her community, which supported her brother Jeff after he suffered a spinal cord injury. Out of its humble beginnings, it has evolved into a renowned annual musical cabaret that brings together advocates, Broadway stars, elected officials, and the public, all to benefit paralysis-related causes. Proceeds from this year’s show will benefit Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, a nonprofit that supports international advocacy, education, and spinal cord injury research."
In addition to Brooks and Lenox, the rest of the lineup includes: Adrian Bailey (Jelly’s Last Jam), Ashley Blanchet (Beautiful), Khaya Cohen ("X Factor"), E.
