Playbill is delighted to announce that Tony nominee Laura Osnes joins the idyllic getaway for theatrelovers this November
A Playbill Travel alumn, having performed on Broadway on the High Seas 6 in the Caribbean and Broadway on the High Seas 7 in the Italian Riviera, Osnes is sure to wow audiences with new tunes and beloved classics. Osnes recently completed her run as leading lady Julia Trojan in Broadway’s Tony-winning musical Bandstand, for which she earned a Drama Desk nomination. Her performance, equal parts strength and vulnerability—with a voice and footwork to match—proved Osnes is one of the great talents of musical theatre.
She joins an already stellar line-up of award-winning talent, including Tony winner Rachel Bay Jones (Dear Evan Hansen), two-time Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz (An American in Paris, Falsettos), three-time Tony nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Young Frankenstein, Finian’s Rainbow, Waitress), two-time Drama Desk nominee Julia Murney (Falling, The Wild Party), three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, 9 to 5), and music director and MC Seth Rudetsky. Also, headlining this cruise is master of the Great American Songbook Michael Feinstein, who will present his intimate solo show and participate in a deep dive interview with Playbill President and CEO Philip Birsh.
The once-in-a-lifetime trip sails November 3–13, 2017, through the lush European countryside and cultural landmarks of Austria, Germany, Slovakia, and Hungary while featuring the crème de la crème of Broadway talent. Each of the above performers will offer their solo show nightly, after guests enjoy days of cultural extravagance and European beauty. Passengers will have the opportunity to get to know their favorite Broadway stars as performers and share in unforgettable excursions, onboard cocktail parties, and gourmet culinary experiences.
