News Tom Jones to Discuss I Do! I Do! at Westport Playhouse Aug. 15 I Do! I Do! and Fantasticks book writer and lyricist Tom Jones will join Westport Country Playhouse associate artistic director David Kennedy for a chat about his lengthy career Aug. 15 in Connecticut.

Westport is set to stage I Do! I Do!, starring Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin and Drama Desk Award nominee Lewis Cleale, beginning Aug. 10. Jones will be on hand on Aug. 15 to discuss the two-hander about a life-long marriage (co-authored with composer Harvey Schmidt), as well as their other works for the stage. The free symposium will follow the 3 PM matinee of I Do! I Do! The production is scheduled to run through Aug. 28 under the direction of Susan H. Schulman (The Sound of Music, Little Women).

In addition to The Fantasticks and I Do! I Do!, Jones and Schmidt have created the musicals 110 in the Shade, Celebration, Philemon, Mirette, Collette Collage and Grover's Corners.
