Tom Attea's new play Science opens April 22 for a limited engagement at Theater for the New City that ends May 1. Previews began April 14. Directed by Mark Marcante, the play follows Nobel-Prize winning research chemist and professor Dr. Alexander Morgan and his student Bret Wilmont.

The two clash over religious beliefs and campus rumors that Dr. Morgan is an atheist. The Christian-raised student eventually meets the doctor's daughter and falls head-over-heels for her, posing a few complications to his life.

Featured in the cast are Robert Gregory, Tom Koch, Madison Finney, Robin May, Blake McAlister, Maura Moreau, Alyssa Palmigiano, Ellen Revesz, and Joel Shaw.

The production will also have music by Arthur Abrams, scenic design by Marcante, costume and prop design by Lytza Colon, lighting design by Alexander Bartenieff, sound design by Roy Chang, and assistant direction and casting by Danielle Hauser. Natasha Velez is the stage manager.
