Couples from the cast of Forever Tango will perform numbers from the revue on NBC-TV's "Today Show" Monday morning, July 14.
The dancers, accompanied by a quartet of musicians, will perform outdoors for the TV audience and the throng of visitors outside the studio in Rockefeller Center.
Forever Tango, now playing through Aug. 30 at New York's Walter Kerr Theatre on New York's West 48th Street, features 16 dancers, a vocalist, and an 11-member orchestra.
The instruments that give the tango its distinctive sound are the piano, violin, double bass, and the bandeleon, an instrument that's the first cousin to an accordion.
