Just a brilliant comic performance. Physical and hilarious. He killed every time he set foot on the stage!

Fresh, funny and the best opening number in memory: I was introduced to every character I would spend the next two glorious hours with, in the first 7 minutes. Brilliant!

I was involved, as a producer for Theatre Raleigh in North Carolina of this beautiful Jeanine Tesori jewel. We had a beautiful central performance by Lauren Kennedy. Every night I witnessed the audience battling wave after wave of honest emotion.
