"Theatre Talk," the New York-based stage-related talk show, has had a Boston home on the PBS station WGBH (Channel 2) for a couple seasons now. But beginning Sept. 12, the program will for the first time reach a prime time Boston audience. "Theater Talk"'s new time slot is Wednesdays at 7:30 PM.
The show's initial five weeks at the new time will be filled by repeat airings, dubbed "The Best of Theatre Talk." The schedule runs as follows:
• Sept. 12: Elaine Stritch
• Sept. 19: Edward Albee
• Sept. 26: Terrence McNally
• Oct. 3: Mark Bramble
• Oct. 10: "Reading Lyrics" historian/editors Robert Kimball and Robert Gottlieb
The new "Theater Talk" season will begin on Oct. 24 with a show dedicated to the London hit and incoming Broadway musical Mamma Mia.
