The half-hour TV program will feature interviews with Daphne Rubin-Vega, who created the role of Mimi in Rent, and Village Voice scribe Michael Musto.
Rubin-Vega and Musto, according to a press release, will "discuss the impact of the classic show," and Rubin-Vega will recall her memories of "Rent's late creator, Jonathan Larson and the life-changing experience she and her fellow cast members experienced following his death and the ground-breaking production's monumental success."
This episode of "Theater Talk," which airs at 12:30 AM ET on WNET/Thirteen, will also offer a preview of the Broadway-bound musical Billy Elliot.
