WATCH→ Billy Crystal's 2004 autobiographical Tony-winning one-man show 700 Sundays — which enjoyed a handsome Broadway and touring reprise last season — debuts on HBO. (9 PM ET, HBO. Info.)
GO→ Reefer Madness, the zany 2001 musical that takes a cheeky look at getting high, returns to New York in a late-night, one-night only concert featuring Alan Cumming (who starred in the 2005 movie version), Constantine Maroulis, Telly Leung and Lea DeLaria. OPENING→ Two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster trades in her tap shoes and good-girl persona for a darker kind of girl in the poignant musical Violet. In Jeanine Tesori's first musical written in 1997, Foster plays a facially scarred woman who takes a bus trip across the country in hopes of finding a cure for her disfigurement. OPENING→ Dark comedy master Martin McDonagh's latest play to come to Broadway, The Cripple of Inishmaan, brings Daniel Radcliffe back to these shores in an unexpected role. The Michael Grandage-helmed Inishmaan, which was a huge smash in London, follows a sleepy town in Ireland that gets invaded by Hollywood types. OPENING→ Oscar winner Estelle Parsons and two-time Tony winner Stephen Spinella team up for Eric Coble's The Velocity of Autumn, direct from a critically acclaimed run at Washington, D.C.'s Arena Stage. Spinella plays son to Parsons — holed up in her Brooklyn brownstone armed with Molotov cocktails — who has taken issue with her family's plans to send her to a rest home. OPENING→ Erstwhile Tonys host Neil Patrick Harris takes a decidedly different turn as flashy East German transgender rocker Hedwig in the Broadway debut of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Michael Mayer is at the helm of this cult-classic John Cameron Mitchell rock-punk musical that first debuted downtown in 1998 with Mitchell in the title role. (Belasco Theatre, 111 W. 44th St., btwn. OPENING→ Harvey Fierstein's first new Broadway play in almost 30 years has the multi-Tony Award winner exploring the true story of a group of white-collar professionals in the 1960s who spent their weekends trading suits for skirts. Tony winner Joe Mantello directs the touching portrait of the quirky and sometimes troubled inhabitants of 1960s Casa Valentina — inspired by the real-life Casa Susanna. (Samuel J.
