The Palace Theater Offers Dinner and a Broadway Show | Playbill

News The Palace Theater Offers Dinner and a Broadway Show The Palace Theater, a fairly new dinner theatre in Wisconsin Dells, has announced that its new season will feature the Johnny Cash musical Ring of Fire and the acclaimed Eric Simonson play Lombardi, both previously seen on Broadway.

The season kicks off with Pinkalicious (March 14-April 12), the family musical based on the popular children's book of the same name. Pinkalicious ends up in the doctor's office when her obsession with eating pink cupcakes turns her pink from head to toe. All performances will include a pink cupcake and a carton of milk.

Up next is musical The Ring of Fire (March 26-May 3), celebrating the music of Johnny Cash. The iconic artist's songbook of love, faith, struggle, redemption and family is brought to the stage, including classics such as "I Walk the Line," "A Boy Named Sue" and "Folsom Prison Blues." The Ring of Fire played the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Broadway in 2006.

March 20-Sept. 6 will see The Little Mermaid, Disney's story of Ariel, an adventurous mermaid who dreams of becoming a human.

Lombardi will play Sept. 23-Nov. 1, written by Academy Award winner Eric Simonson. The play tells the story of American icon Vince Lombardi, who in 1965, dreamed of creating the greatest team in NFL's history. Lombardi played the Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway in 2010-11.
