The Metropolitan Opera has announced changes to their ongoing health and safety policy ahead of the 2022/2023 season. Proof of vaccination will no longer be required to enter the opera house, but all patrons will be required to wear a properly fitting mask when not actively eating or drinking.
The famed opera company opens its season September 27 with Cherubini’s Medea starring Sondra Radvanovsky. Also slated for the upcoming season are Renée Fleming and Kelli O'Hara in The Hours, Terence Blanchard's Champion, and more.
