The Marvelous Wonderettes will take its final bow at Off-Broadway's Theatre Row January 6, 2019. The final cast includes Emmy winner Kristen Alderson as Cindy Lou, Michelle Dowdy as Betty Jean, Amy Hillner Larsen as Suzy, Maggie McDowell as Missy, and Amy Toporek as the “Wonderstudy.”

The Marvelous Wonderettes began previews March 23, 2016, ahead of an April 28 official opening. At the time of closing the show will have played 567 performances.

In its three years the production has welcomed guest stars Diana DeGarmo, Christina Bianco, Jenna Leigh Green, Sally Schwab, Laura Woyasz, Kristy Cates, Ryann Redmond, Meg Lanzarone, Brie Cassil, Carly Sakolove, Halle Morse, Angelica Salem, Marissa Rosen, Mackenzie Barman, Tricia Tanguy, and Caitlin Donohue.

Created, written, and originally directed by Roger Bean, The Marvelous Wonderettes is a musical trip down memory lane to the 1958 Springfield High School prom. There, we meet The Wonderettes, four girls whose hopes and dreams are recounted through 20 chart-topping hits of the era.

The Off-Broadway revival is directed by Michael and Tom D’Angora, with choreography by Alex Ringler and music direction by Benjamin Rauhala. The creative team is rounded out by Billy Davis (sets), Lois Catanzaro (lights), Jen Bullock (wigs), Marty Thomas (wig supervisor), Brendan McCann (props), and Krystal Roccaro (stage manager).
