Two industry presentations of Gravity: A Newtonian Musical will be held November 6 at 4 PM and November 7 at 11 AM at Pearl Studios in Manhattan.

Directed by co-conceiver Ken Savage with music direction by Joel Chapman, the cast of the romantic comedy will feature Taylor Iman Jones, Adrianna Hicks, J Antonio Rodriguez, Sherrod T. Brown, Will Connolly, David R. Gordon, Megan Masako Haley, Dan Hoy, Belén Moyano, Bryan Munar, and Kay Sibal. Casting is by Victor Vasquez of X Casting.

With a book by Jessia Hoffman, lyrics by Weston Gaylord, and music by Chapman and Matt Herrero, Gravity follows physics prodigy Sophie, who is accidentally catapulted back in time, where her meet-cute with 23-year-old Isaac Newton prevents him from discovering gravity—trapping Sophie in 1666. To return home, she must restore history and navigate the Enlightenment, where natural philosophers are the pop stars of their day. 

William Carlton is the production stage manager, with Chelsea Friday assisting. Sharon Fallon Productions is the general manager.

Gravity was a 2025 finalist for the National Alliance for Musical Theater Festival of New Musicals and 2025 semi-finalist and 2017 finalist for the O'Neill National Music Theatre Conference.
