Anna Mackmin, who previously directed Bullmore’s Mammals for the Bush Theatre and subsequently on tour, directs. According to press materials, the play is an exploration of friendship’s impact on life and life’s impact on friendship, as it follows three women who join forces at the age of 18.
Tamzin Outhwaite, who plays Di, was last seen on the London stage in the title role of the Menier Chocolate Factory’s production of Sweet Charity that subsequently transferred to the West End’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. Other West End credits include Boeing Boeing and Oliver! She has also appeared at the Royal Court in Breathing Corpses and Flesh Wound. TV roles include appearances in "Law and Order," "Paradox," "The Fixer Hustle," "Hotel Babylon" and "EastEnders."
Nicola Walker, who plays Viv, was last seen on the London stage in Season’s Greetings at the National. Other recent stage credits include Mrs. Klein at the Almeida and Gethsemane at the National.
Claudie Blakley, who plays Rose, is currently in The Cherry Orchard at the Natonal. Other stage credits include Attempts on Her Life at the National and A Girl in A New Car with A Man at the Royal Court.
Playwriight Amelia Bullmore is also a well-known actress from stage and screen and was most recently seen in the ITV drama "Scott and Bailey." Her writing credits include This Life, Attachments and Big Train. Director Anna Mackmin’s recent credits include The Real Thing and Dancing at Lughnasa at the Old Vic, Really Old Like Forty Five at the National and Under the Blue Sky and In Celebration in the West End.
