Co-presented by Roundabout Theatre Company, the Broadway-bound revival of 1776 will begin performances at Cambridge's American Repertory Theater May 17. The show will subsequently head to Broadway, playing Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre in September.
Diane Paulus and Jeffrey L. Page co-direct the musical about the founding fathers. Page also serves as choreographer. The production will also have scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Emilio Sosa, lighting design by Jennifer Schriever, sound design by Jonathan Deans, projection design by David Bengali, and hair, wig, and makeup design by Mia Neal.
