The new musical Figaro celebrates the March 1 release of its digital studio cast album with a concert at Manhattan cabaret venue The Green Room 42 March 4. The performance is available for in-person audiences and via a live stream.
On hand to sing from the new musical—which features music and lyrics by Ashley Jana and a book by Jana and Will Nunziata, who's also directing—will be Mauricio Martínez (On Your Feet), Cayleigh Capaldi (Titaníque), T. Oliver Reid (Hadestown), Jayke Workman (Chicago), Benjamin Pajak (The Music Man), Lily Bell Morgan (Cocomelon), and Jana.
Figaro follows a young singer whose chance encounter with two young orphans and the handsome Figaro may just give her the chance to escape her formerly dull life on her father's farm and make all her dreams come true.
