Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company has revealed its 2024-25 season. Steppenwolf will present five productions, including world and Chicago premieres, in the new season.

The season will begin with Michael Frayn's Noises Off, running September 12-October 27. Opening night is set for September 22. Anna D. Shapiro will direct a cast featuring Audrey Francis, Francis Guinan, Ora Jones, James Vincent Meredith, and Karen Rodriguez. 

The world premiere of Ngozi Anyanwu's play with music Leroy and Lucy will follow, with Awoye Timpo at the helm. The production will run October 24-December 15, with opening night set for November 3. Jon Michael Hill is featured in the cast. 

From January 30-March 16, 2025, Steppenwolf will present Sam Shepard's Fool for Love, with an official opening February 8. Jeremy Herrin will direct the production. Casting has not yet been announced. 

Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan Lori-Parks' The Book of Grace will make its Chicago premiere as the next show in Steppenwolf's season. The production will run March 27-May 18, with opening night set for April 6. Steve H. Broadnax III will direct, and Glenn Davis is featured in the cast. 

The season will close with the Chicago premiere of Noah Diaz's You Will Get Sick, directed by Artistic Director Audrey Francis. The production will run June 5-July 13, with an official opening June 15. The cast will feature Cliff Chamberlain, Amy Morton, and Namir Smallwood.

"The plays we've chosen require our artists to bring the whole of themselves (physically, emotionally, spiritually) and leave it all onstage in a sprint to the finish. Night. After. Night.
