The concert, scheduled to begin at 7 PM, will also feature Gary Sieger on guitar and Randy Landau on bass.
Glamour and Goop will feature new music and re-conceived classics as well as material from their latest albums—Stitt's "My Lifelong Love" and Egan's "The Secret of Happiness"—which were both released last November. The evening will also include "behind-the-scenes stories ranging from hijinks to heartache."
Egan was nominated for a Tony Award in 1994 for her performance as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She has also been seen on Broadway in State Fair, Triumph of Love, Cabaret and Thoroughly Modern Mille. For more on Egan's theatrical history, visit the Playbill Vault.
Stitt's original musicals include Big Red Sun (2005 Harold Arlen Award, with John Jiler), Sing Me A Happy Song (with Jamie Pachino), The Water (2008 ANMT Search for New Voices in American Musical Theatre winner, with Jeff Hylton and Tim Werenko) and Mosaic (Off-Broadway, with Cheri Steinkellner).
