Honeycrisp apples are my FAVORITE.

Weather check on the walk home. Sandy is coming and she means business. This is my very first hurricane! Hoping that she takes it easy on us!

Hurricane preparedness. Obviously the most important purchase was the Lindt sea salt chocolate.

My mother calling/texting to check in on the hurricane situation. I include this text only to show that it took her exactly 56 minutes to remember that I don't have a bathtub. Priceless. Love you, Mom!

Power up! Doesn't it look delicious?

My beloved to-go thermos that my childhood best friend crafted for me before I moved to NYC! I take it everywhere! Yes, that's a picture of us and yes, that's a doily framing our faces.

My ride to work! Except nights after 10pm, mornings before 5am, select weekends in October, and whenever else it doesn't feel like running local.
Hannah Elless
Sometimes I play Russian roulette with my music. I put my songs on shuffle and whatever plays first is my theme song for the day. My phone knows me so well. A perfect anthem for the hurricane day!

Because I play an electric drum set for the show, I use anti-vibe drumsticks to help reduce the shock to my hands/wrists/arms.
Hannah Elless
A back shot of my purple mandolin! She's making her Off-Bway debut but is not a stranger to the theatre. She came on the Broadway tour of Mamma Mia! . Since then she's played at the Laurie Beechman, Joe's Pub and 54 Below.

Checking in with the boys' dressing room. I wish I could tell you what's happening here. I'll let you guess which one's not wearing pants.

Ken Triwush shows off his snacks. I tease that he only eats snacks marketed to women. He already ate his Luna bar for the day. True story.

Our dressing room walls are paper thin and we can hear EVERYTHING the guys say like, "Don't go in *there* for awhile..."

Hey, Evita and Peter and the Starcatcher ! You're not the only mustache-aware shows in town! Check out our grooming technique.

Hannah Elless
The most important preparation for our show. Backstage before every performance Kate Wetherhead reads a selection of Stanislavski's "An Actor Prepares" to inspire and enlighten.
Hannah Elless
And while Kate reads, Josh Cohen's apartment gets robbed!

Backstage shot during the show! Kate Wetherhead goes all Neil Diamond on us!
